Classes Are Filling! Why August Is the Best Time to Enroll Your Child

As summer winds down, families begin preparing for a new school year. New backpacks are purchased, schedules fill up, and routines start to return. It's also one of the busiest times of the year for youth activities—and one of the best opportunities to help your child build healthy habits that will last throughout the school year.
At SPF Parkour Academy, August is one of our busiest enrollment months because families return from vacations ready to get back into a routine. Many of our classes begin filling quickly, making now the ideal time to enroll.
Whether your child is interested in Little Ninjas, Parkour, Ninja Warrior, Trampoline, Tumbling, Boxing, or our Homeschool PE program, starting before the school year is in full swing helps them build confidence, stay active, and establish a routine they'll look forward to every week.

Build Healthy Habits Before School Gets Busy
The beginning of a new school year is the perfect time to establish positive routines.
Physical activity isn't just good exercise—it also supports focus, confidence, coordination, and overall well-being. After a summer filled with vacations, late nights, and extra screen time, many children benefit from getting back into structured movement.
Starting in August allows children to settle into a routine before homework, sports, and school activities begin competing for their time.
Don't Wait Until Your Preferred Class Is Full
Every year we hear the same thing:
"
We meant to sign up earlier."
Unfortunately, by the time many families decide to enroll, some of our most popular class times are already full.
Registering early gives your child the best opportunity to:
Secure a class time that fits your schedule.
Meet new friends as the school year begins.
Build confidence from day one.
Progress consistently throughout the year.
Starting early means less stress for parents and a smoother transition for children.

More Than Just Exercise
At SPF Parkour Academy, we believe movement builds more than strong bodies.
Every class helps children develop important life skills such as:
Confidence
Balance and coordination
Strength and flexibility
Problem-solving
Goal setting
Perseverance
Respect
Teamwork
Every obstacle they overcome in the gym helps prepare them to overcome challenges outside the gym as well.

Programs for Every Age
Ages 4–6
Our youngest athletes thrive in programs designed specifically for their stage of development.
Little Ninjas is one of our most popular classes, introducing obstacle courses, climbing, jumping, balance, and agility in a fun, encouraging environment. Children build confidence while improving listening skills, coordination, and body awareness.
We also offer:
Little Flippers – Beginner trampoline instruction focusing on safe jumping and body control.
Little Poppers – Introductory tumbling classes that develop flexibility, strength, and coordination.
Ages 7–15
Older students can choose from:
Every program is taught by experienced, certified coaches who focus on proper progressions, safety, and helping every student achieve success at their own pace.

Homeschool PE with Included Open Gym
Our Homeschool PE program continues to grow because it offers so much more than traditional physical education.
Students receive structured instruction in Parkour, Ninja Warrior, Trampoline, or Tumbling while developing strength, coordination, confidence, and teamwork.
After every homeschool class, students enjoy 30 minutes of supervised Open Gym, giving them extra time to practice new skills, challenge themselves, and have fun with friends in a safe environment.
It's one of the features families appreciate most.
Open Gym Gives Kids More Time to Grow
Learning doesn't stop when class ends.
Our Open Gym sessions give students additional opportunities to practice skills they've learned during class, gain confidence through repetition, and simply enjoy being active.
Whether they're working on conquering a new obstacle, practicing a skill, or spending time with friends, Open Gym encourages movement in a positive, coach-supervised setting.
